I make records.
Producer, recording and mixing engineer

I'm most useful when I'm helping turn ideas into finished records. I came up through recording studios, working as an assistant and engineer across a wide range of sessions. Over time, that role evolved naturally into production. I'll often work with an artist from an early or rough idea through to a finished release, shaping the music as it develops. I'm less interested in chasing perfection than in feel, momentum, and what the song actually needs.Mixing is a central part of what I do. It's where my technical background and production instincts come together, and it's how I stay involved with a lot of artists and projects even when I'm not producing from the ground up.Alongside freelance work I run TAPES, a studio session series on cassette.Got something that needs mixing? Send it over. Always up for the right production work too.
